Stacy Chretien is a comprehensive, fee-only financial planner with Insight Wealth Strategies.  She brings 25 years of financial services experience, specializing in guiding her clients through life’s many transitions.  Her expertise includes developing customized retirement and estate plans, as well as developing investment and tax minimizing strategies.  Stacy collaborates with CPAs, Estate Attorneys and Other Trusted Advisors, sharing ideas and leveraging their efforts to ensure effective and efficient implementation of financial recommendations.    

Stacy strives to develop lasting relationships, creating a space for trust and confidence.  By striving to understand her clients’ goals, priorities and anxieties, Stacy can provide insightful education, guidance and innovative solutions.  She prefers to begin each relationship with an in-depth financial plan.

Stacy started her career in 1990 practicing as a CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANT™(CPA) with Deloitte, serving financial services, real estate and non-profit companies.  She joined Charles Schwab in 1995, serving in many capacities including internal audit and strategic analysis, before transitioning into a Financial Consultant in 2007.  In addition to earning the CPA designation, she successfully  passed her Series 66 exam and has completed the process of becoming a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional.

Stacy grew up in the Bay Area with strong family ties to Lafayette, Louisiana.  She graduated from California State University, Hayward, with a BS in Business & Accounting.  She currently resides in the East Bay with her two dogs, Linus & Doug. Stacy enjoys spending time outdoors with friends and family, and volunteering – Hopalong Animal Rescue and The Jr Center of Arts & Science are her favorites.

Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. owns the certification marks CFP®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, in the U.S., which it awards to individuals who successfully complete CFP Board’s initial and ongoing certification requirements.
